MEET MELISSA V. CARTWRIGHT
I'm originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, but grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, so I consider myself a "Georgia-Rican." I'm a Point University graduate, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Ministry and Vocal Pedagogy while continuing professional development for the stage & studio. In addition to teaching, I've enjoyed working in radio, television, and on stage with regional theatre companies for the past 20 years.
You can be a thriving artist when you learn how to overcome those "are you sure you can do this?" fears and sing with the kind of ease you've always wanted. I understand how it feels to overcome my anxieties about how I feel when I sing, and I want to help you do the same! Let's train your voice AND your confidence.
When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me volunteering, guest teaching for the York County's School of the Arts, composing original music, performing locally, going for a jog, or having coffee with a friend. Spending time with my husband and my two daughters is my favorite and most important pastime.
